A Discord server is like a group chat, but more organized.
When you join our CBSRH Discord, you’re just joining a group of people who chat together.
There are different “channels” (some for professions, some for information, some for conversations about the Cape Breton lifestyle, etc…)
Once inside, you can read posts and reply if you like. It’s a bit like joining a Facebook group, but with live conversations and no ads. Everything happens inside the app, and you can pop in or out whenever you want.
When you first get to the Discord, there will be an application form.
Make sure you tell us your occupation (nurse, lab tech, hospitalist, etc..) so we can put you in the right group.
Once you’ve been accepted, you must post an introduction of yourself (location, job, etc.) in the #introductions channel within 24 hours, or the server will remove you automatically and not permit you to come back.
